The Fullerton women’s soccer team have their first winning streak of the year.
The Titans defeated Fresno State 2-1 on Sunday at the Fresno State Soccer Field. Fullerton got goals from Samantha Koemans and Sarah Fajnor.
Fullerton found themselves trailing early in the first half after Fresno’s Peyton Cline put her team ahead 1-0 around the seventh minute.
The Titans finally got to relax a bit later in the game after Koeman scored the tying goal around the 48th minute, but it was Fajnor’s goal at minute 58 that gave the Titans the lead and win.
Next up for the ladies is BYU in Provo, Utah on Friday, August 25. The Cougars lost their most recent match against Penn State last Friday, so you can be certain they’ll want to spoil the Titans’ current winning streak.
